Western Maple Hardwood Flooring
Western Maple (Acer Macrophullum) is a fine-grained hardwood that has more colour variation and beautiful figured grains than Eastern Maple. Rich and warm, subtle and swirling. West Coast Modern. Elegant with a bit of nature.
We source our trees from local logging companies, private woodlot owners and through salvage. Our target is large-diameter logs with character which provide opportunities for targeting grain configurations. Older trees also offer more figure and colour which is what makes Western Maple flooring so unique and special.
